I pray for the grace of holy purity, true conversion, true metanoia to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus for perserverance in grace. I pray for my debt to be resolved soon and I entrust my vocation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I pray for a return to the sacraments of my entire family and conversion to the Catholic faith of all those I know outside the faith. I pray for my niece who is to have her first Holy Communion november 2. I pray for a good teaching job in Germany.

-Sue a very good friend in Perry County, PA who has advanced breast cancer, &
-Angela, my daughter, who is fighting breast cancer.

Please keep in prayer my 12 yr old niece, Karen. Since Thursday, she's been passing out 3-4 times a day, has been taken via ambulance to the hospital twice, and has now been admitted (once again via ambulance, but this time from her doctor's office). Serious heartfelt prayers are requested for the gift of Faith for Kathy, a baptized Catholic, who left the Church in the 1960's. She has terminal cancer. Only God's grace will give her the faith that she seeks but cannot find. She believes that being good is enough. With your prayers, and God's grace and mercy, I pray that Kathy finds the faith she never had as a child, and that she returns to the Catholic Church before she dies. Thank you.(4/29/07)

Marianne is asking prayers for Mrs. Patricia N. She's a Third Order Dominican and the mother of a Priest, Fr. David N., OMV. Pat has been suffering with Parkinson's Disease for numerous years, and recently, was diagnosed with some type of pulmonary fibrosis. Her condition has worsened and she was given a few weeks to live. Please pray for Rebecca who was just diagnosed with a melanoma (a malignant form of skin cancer) and is undergoing surgery today to determine the extent of the cancer. God-willing, Rebecca will be a healthy June Bride at her upcoming wedding. Thank you. (4/18/07)

My brother-in-law Joe, in Florida, has an umbilical hernia. This means that his abdominal muscle has torn and that his intestines are sticking out of his body (covered by skin). It is not sticking out too much, but he has to be careful. If the intestine comes out and gets ‘strangulated’, the intestines could get infected, the infection could spread throughout the body, and he could die from it. Thank you. (4/8/07)

Dr. Geri, in Florida, asks for prayers for one of her students who wrote: "My sister was in a head on car crash. My nephew was air lifted and we have been with them. He is doing okay, he tore his nose and nicked an artery in his nose. He broke his leg and had to have surgery today. He is a tough little boy. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you. Mary S will have kidney surgery Tuesday morning (3/20) at Holy Spirit Hospital (Camp Hill, PA). She expects to be in the hospital three days. She asks us to please pray for God's will in success, healing, complications, and for the surgeon.

Mary also asks for prayers for her Uncle Bob whose cancer has grown more and for another Uncle, Jack, who was just diagnosed with an untreatable cancer and for both sets of families.(3/19/07)

Please say prayers for a young woman named Jonna. She has six young children and her husband has terminal brain cancer. She is working hard to build her home business (www.islandsoap.net) and she is very positive. Although he cannot work, she appreciates this since it gives them more time together.

She is great! Please pray for her strength through these rough times and her road ahead.

I ask for prayers for my friend Mark L., for his Mom, and his 3 brothers. Mark's sister passed away last night after suffering in hospitals and nursing homes for 2 years. She was young, the same age as my big sister V. The sons are worried about their Mom who lives alone and who is very upset at the loss of her daughter. Thank you. Geri in Florida.

UPDATE: Keith is out of his coma and is responsive. Thanks be to God that his sister resisted the Doctors' suggestions to disconnect him for "quality of life" reasons. They have a long road ahead of them but the road is paved with hope and prayers. Thank you and God bless you.(3/7/07)

UPDATE: When the prayer request for Marianne was posted (several months ago) she was not expected to make it through the night and her family was called in to be at her bedside. Thanks to your prayers, her perseverance, and primarily the grace of God, she's doing nicely and should be home as soon as her husband recovers from surgery following a heart attack (there's always something!). (earlier) I'd like to request prayers for my seven-year-old daughter, Gabriella. Her father took her to Canada unexpectedly in September and she has not seen me since. Please pray that the Blessed Virgin Mary will console her, since she is without her earthly mother's presence at this time. Also, please pray that the legal system will work quickly to return her to the United States.

UPDATE: Little Bernadette was just featured in the March 2007 issue of Catholic Family News. Click here for the story and a picture of her.

Little Bernadette died Christ-mass day ... she was buried in her First Holy Communion dress ... prayers are requested through her intercession for her mother Rosalind (with her metastatic breast cancer).

Followup to several weeks ago: Bernadette Pouliot (6) was unexpectedly diagnosed with leukemia this morning, since which time she has been in a coma. Her condition is very serious at this time and the doctors are unsure if she will survive. Mrs. Pouliot was also recently diagnosed with breast cancer which they have just learned has spread to her spine, so the entire Pouliot family is much in need of prayers and help from their fellow members of the Mystical Body. We all beseech Heaven for their sakes.

Please pray for Lynn from Schuylkill County. No water, phone or heat for over a month. Radical mastetomy surgery had to be postponed because non deductable amount was not available. Her fortunes and way of life have been seriously altered due to unfortunate medical situations.

Becky and Dan request prayers for 2 year old Isabelle Cunningham who almost lost her life before Christmas due to 3 seizures. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers that she and her family will never have to experience a terrifying scare like that again.

UPDATE: Happy to report that J patiently underwent gruelling medical procedures and is now cancer-free. Thank you for your prayers and God bless you.

Please include in your prayers, my sister J in Philadelphia, who is struggling with the prospects of a fatal form of thyroid cancer. 

Geri requests prayers that her husband Joe receives healing and/or treatment for his disability and that he becomes a happy, productive person again.
