An Opportunity to Support Priest Training
for the Traditional Latin Mass

There are so many Priests that never had the opportunity to learn to say the Traditional Latin Mass. With the hope of a general indult looming closer, the traditional Latin Mass movement cannot progress very far without trained priests. Most priests are too busy or nervous about "doing it right" to teach themselves.

This coming June, there will be three training camps for priests who would like to learn to say the traditional Latin Mass. A priest can attend any of the three sessions and get a crash course over 5 days. Each week-long camp is open to 12 priests.

Una Voce America is undertaking this project with the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP).  IPSO, in cooperation with Una Voce America, is asking for your help. The cost of the week-long camp for each priest will be about $300. The airfares they will pay will of course vary.

IPSO is setting up a special fund for this effort. All monies will be donated to the project through Una Voce America. On March 16th, Fr Calvin Goodwin, FSSP, sent the following report to Una Voce: "It appears that we (here) may have slightly underestimated the degree of interest that there would be in this project. My understanding is that only one significant internet-wide release has gone out thus far. Nonetheless enquiries and reservations have been coming our way fast and furious, to the degree that something like half the places available have been claimed - just in the last three days. They're coming from all over: Denver, Arlington, NYC, Tennessee, New Jersey, etc."
