Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

O Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Mercy, Queen of Heaven, and Refuge of sinners, this Traditional Latin Mass Community consecrates its parish life to thine Immaculate Heart. With this consecration, we desire that all that is in us and around us will belong to thee, and will share in the benefits of thy motherly blessing. And that this act of consecration may be truly effective and lasting, we renew this day at thy feet the promises of our Baptism and our First Holy Communion.

We pledge ourselves to profess the truths of our holy Faith courageously and at all times, and to live as devout Catholics, especially by praying the Holy Rosary everyday, wearing the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and also the Miraculous Medal, and by being duly obedient to the Magisterium of the Church. We pledge ourselves to keep the Commandments of God and of the Church, in particular to keep holy the Lord's Day. We likewise pledge ourselves to always be good examples of the Christian virtues, especially humility, purity, and charity, and making the Sacraments of Holy Communion and Confession an integral part of our lives, insofar as it is possible to do so.

We promise thee, finally, O glorious Mother of God and loving Mother of men, to dedicate ourselves wholeheartedly to thee, together with devotion to thy most chaste Spouse Saint Joseph, to the end that it may hasten and assure, through the reign of thine Immaculate Heart, the coming of the Kingdom of the Sacred Heart of thy Divine Son Jesus - in our hearts, and in the hearts of all men, in our country, and in the world, as in Heaven, so on earth. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Amen.
